GEO600 Theoretical Noise Budget - changelog J.R. Smith Version 4.0: ============ 02.05.06 - All shot noise curves updated for the best current model of shot noise given the known paramters of GEO600. - Detunings of 1000, 550, 350, and 250Hz considered for theoretical noise models. - All new theoretical files given v4 markers. Version 3.0: ============ 26.03.05 - All shot noise curves made a factor sqrt(2) higher to correct for a overestimate due to the implementation of the mixer in Finesse. - All shot noise curves made an additional factor sqrt(3/2) higher to account for additional noise added in the heterodyne process, see Meers & Strain 1991 PRA vol 44 num 7 pp 4693-4703. The current estimate is now slightly on the pessimistic side. - Shot noise and total noise for 350Hz signal detuning added. - All files given a "_v3" marker in filename. All figures have "V3" patch. Version 2.0: ============= 16.06.05 - All shot noise curves changed back to the pre-version-control values (so factor 2 lower than version1), and other curves changed accordingly. Version 1.0: ============= 23.03.05 - Implemented a version control on the noise curves, with the most up-to-date curves being Version 1.0. All previous curves are considered to be pre-version-control. - A version tag appears on all figure formats, as well as in the header of each ascii file. - This changelog was created to record the history of changes made to the theoretical noise curves. 22.03.05 - All shot noise curves were made precisely a factor of two higher than in the previous version. This corrects for a misinterpretation of the FINESSE simulation output that was made when calculating the shot noise curves. - The total noise curves and all figures were also updated to reflect these changes. - The signal-recycling cavity detuning frequency is now given in the legend for the appropriate shot noise curves in all figures.
