GEO600 is the gravitational wave detector developed by the Max-Planck-Institut für Quantenoptik (Garching), the Institute for Gravitational Physics (Univ. Glasgow), and the Institut für Atom- und Moleküphysik (Univ. Hannover). Construction started in 1995 and ended in 2001. There have been several successful commissioning runs. After reaching the design sensitivity, data acquisition on a regular basis will start.
